Is it a desiccant? I may spray the inside with WD-40, seal the chimney pipe with a walmart bag, and... The only lubricating I do is at end of season after full cleaning::.. I spray the burnpot and pretty much every wall in the stove with Pam Cooking spray to deter any rust from forming..AND put a box of DampRid in the stove for summer.
damprid iphone, don't really know about oiling motors in the P61A. Then I close the air inlet and put a can of damprid in the stove. This may be aesthetically problematic if the stove is in the living room (mine is in the basement). damprid iphone, Covering outside exhaust vent and OAK vent helps also. btw: The Rustoleum Flat Black works perfect for The Outside of the stove... my hopper lid area got all scratched up last year from the constant open/shut of the lid latch.
