I wish Nikon had copped the design of the OM-4T or other camera for easier AE use. My old Canon T70 offered fairly sophisticated AE modes along with shutter speed readout in 1/3 stop steps. And while it didn't offer exposure compensation per se, the same thing could be accomplished by using the pushbuttons to change the ISO. Having reluctantly sold my Nikon gear to get a small rf rig for widesand normals, I found a real bargain F2AS.
